Sean Dyche hails new £25m signing Beto as a 'powerful striker' as Everton pin their goal hopes on the Portuguese forward...while Dominic Calvert-Lewin won't need surgery on facial injury

Sean Dyche has received a double boost as he bids to solve Everton's acute goal shortage.

On top of new signing Beto's positive performance and debut goal in the EFL Cup win at Doncaster came the news that Dominic Calvert-Lewin does not need surgery on his facial injury and will be back in action after the international break.

Beto will go straight in for his Premier League debut in the clash with fellow strugglers Sheffield United on Saturday after transforming Everton and impressing Dyche with his hunger as a half-time substitute on Wednesday.
